Be sure to check out our TikTok videos to meet all the puppies!

We are dedicated to giving you the healthiest pet and are committed to putting the health and care of the breed over profits. All our puppies come with a 2-year genetic health guarantee and all parents have been genetically health tested and cleared as well as OFA hip/elbow clearance or are pending clearance. We are also a licensed breeder through the State of Kansas. These records will be available to you upon request or can be viewed on each dogs profile. Dams are kept on site, Sires/studs are currently kept off site to keep from accidental breedings. All genetic health records of studs used for litters are available upon request. This will include DNA and OFA results and may include Penn Hip score.

We provide in our contracts the following:

  • Bill of Sale
  • Current Vaccines/deworming
  • 2-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
  • Spay/Neuter Agreement or Full Breeding Rights agreement
  • Our Rehoming policy/Return of puppy Contract.

These documents are available for all to read through and are in place to ensure you are getting the healthiest puppy possible and to keep our puppies out of the shelter.

When you take home a Farmhouse Friend, your puppy will come up to date on their vaccinations (no matter if you take them home at 8 weeks or 12 weeks), dewormed, microchipped, and vet checked. All documentation of these items will be provided to you. Our puppies leave us no sooner than 8 weeks of age, this is to allow our puppies to be fully weaned from mom before they leave with you.
All our Golden Retriever puppies will come with AKC paperwork. Currently, our German Shepherd puppies are not AKC registered but are DNA proven purebred. We strongly encourage anyone interested in our puppies to come see our facilities and to fill out our questionnaire so we can better help you pick a puppy that would be suitable for your lifestyle. All those wishing to take home a Farmhouse Friend from out of state will be required to do at least one video call so that we can ensure our puppies are going to a good home.

When we have a litter, they are raised in a large kiddy pool in one of our spare bedrooms until they are 4 weeks old. We do not believe in raising our pups in a kennel or dog run. They are raised indoors and are given time outside to play after their first vaccination. Once they turn 4 weeks old, they are moved out into our living room with a kids play gate around them to help us start potty training. We allow our grown dogs to hang out with us while we work and only put them in their kennels when company is over, so our guests aren’t getting trampled. We also kennel them at night when we go to bed so they do not get into anything they shouldn’t be.
